They are responsible for maintaining prospective student records, application file management, and participating in recruitment and Admissions events.
Job Duties Essential Job Duties Recruit Prospective Students Effectively guides prospective students through the admissions process through regular and consistent communication (I.

, phone calls, emails, appointments).
Sets appointments to determine a prospective student's interests, education, qualifications, and career goals.
Builds rapport with prospective students.
Conducts and participates in scheduled in-person and virtual events (i.
e.
, workshops and presentations).
Participates and engages in travel.
Advise Prospective Students Counsels and advises prospective students through the admissions process (I.
e.
, the completion of prerequisite requirements, how to best prepare themselves as a candidate for admissions, and other components of the admissions process).
Evaluates applicants regarding their suitability for admission into degree and/or certificate programs.
Maintains accurate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database records of prospective students and applicants.
Records all interactions with prospective students (I.
e.
, logs calls, emails, appointments).
Reviews prospect profiles for accuracy.
Other Responsibilities Assists Admissions team with recruitment strategizing, including planning recruitment trips and activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Success in delivering high quality customer service.
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Hubspot, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (I.
e.
, Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Forms).
Excellent interpersonal skills (I.
e.
, communicates clearly and succinctly, easily establishes rapport, cares about the student's personal experiences) Cultivate excitement for Bastyr within perspective students.
Knowledge of recruitment best practices.
Knowledge of how diversity, equity and inclusion play a role in the admissions process.
Highly organized, able to multitask, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
Ability to produce high quality work results that are accurate and error-free.
Experience At least one year of experience in a field related to higher education, recruiting or advising.
