We are seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our team at our Kenmore location.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES Processes Retail and Wholesale counter sales transactions, determines volume of recyclable material drop off, operates front end loader (we will train) to fill customer's order for pick up materials.
Manages daily tasks associated with yard or office operations and janitorial duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Answers questions and advises customer in selection of landscaping materials and supplies.
Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of product.
Answers Intercompany phone calls and practices proper communication with staff and management.
Checks customer's incoming loads for quantity and acceptable materials.
Communicates with equipment operator for quantity and product loading.
Operates light duty equipment to load customers and perform yard maintenance tasks.
Executes office opening and closing procedures according to company policy.
Totals price and tax on products purchased by customer to determine bill.
Accepts payment and makes change.
Secures all money according to company policy.
Sorts and sends paperwork to proper intercompany departments.
Verifies and inspects incoming material from vendors and signs off paperwork.
Cleans shelves, counters, tables, and floors.
Daily garbage removal and other required maintenance.
Monitors inventory of tools items, keep shelves stocked and items for sale clean and dusted.
Monitors stock levels of office supplies and communicates needs for daily office operation.
Makes coffee and keeps lunch area clean.
Cleans and maintains yard and driveways to ensure no product is tracked out onto surrounding streets.
Maintain inventory levels of landscape products and yard waste through proper communication with Dispatch.
Track customers movement and actions on company property to ensure safety and attentive customer service.
Reports all accounting, technical or other discrepancies and issues to the appropriate manager or supervisor.
At all times follows company safety protocols.
Performs equipment safety check and maintenance as needed.
Loading customer vehicles with bulk landscape materials using front end loader (we will train).
Perform basic maintainance on front end loader (we will train).
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
1-3 months of related customer service experience required.
1-3 month of material handling with forklift or similar motorized loading equipment required.
Cashiering and money handling experience preferred.
Basic experience with Windows and POS system preferred.
Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written.

PHYSICAL DEMAND:
Must be able to lift 20lbs consistently and up to 50lbs occasionally.
This individual must be able to safely reach, climb, grasp, bend, and stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
