Northwest Electric and Solar Northwest Electric and Solar Kenmore, WA Kenmore, WA Full-time Full-time $30 - $40 an hour $30 - $40 an hour Energy Project Manager Job Overview Northwest Electric and Solar (NWES) is looking for an Energy Project Manager (EPM) to join our growing team in the rapidly evolving field of renewables, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging.

We are looking for someone with experience in the electrical and construction field to help see our projects through from the point of sale to full operation.
Our Energy Project Managers are crucial in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality service possible, projects are planned and permitted correctly, and that local utilities have been supplied with the proper documentation for every project.
Energy Project Manager Responsibilities Oversee projects from the point of sale through utility permission to operate.
Communicate project updates, timelines, and requirements to customers.
Review site documentation and create a plan for how to execute the installation Work with third party drafting services to create, review, and revise planets for solar PV, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging projects Coordinate permits and inspections with local AHJs Coordinate net metering agreements, interconnection agreements, and scheduled shutdowns with local utilities Maintain training on all products that NWES installs in a rapidly changing field Coordinate with installation teams to ensure projects are moving forward as needed Energy Project Manager Key Competencies and Requirements Strong understanding of solar PV components such as modules, inverters, racking systems, and balance of system components Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Ability to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies Attention to detail Familiarity with local, state, and national regulations for solar PV installations and interconnection processes Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration, trust, and cooperation among team members Ability to facilitate effective communication and decision-making within the NWES team NABCEP Certification - Preferred Company Overview Northwest Electric and Solar (NWES) is a full service Washington State Commercial and residential electrical contracting company founded in 2011.
